‘One of the greatest joys of my life was having the opportunity to return home 19 years ago to take care of the community that raised me. Never in my tenure as a PA have I ever experienced anything like COVID-19. My greatest challenge during this pandemic is ensuring that my patients feel that human connection and compassion despite all the required physical barriers.’
