The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from July 15-19.

JULY 15

6:59 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Laughing Horse Gallery – A caller said some people in a tent were doing drugs and being loud.

9:24 a.m.

– A caller from Eagle Nest said her vehicle was hit in the parking lot of the store on June 25.

10:07 a.m.

– A caller said someone had broken into one of the apartments in the area. The caller said the front door to the unit was bashed in.

4:15 p.m. Fraud-forgery, East Plaza – A caller said someone had been using his checks to spend $1,000. 7:17 p.m.

– A caller said someone had kicked in the door at the restaurant and may have stayed the night inside. Nothing appeared to have been stolen. 7:58 p.m.

– A caller said no one was practicing social distancing at the park. There were a lot of kids playing basketball and volleyball.

JULY 16

4:34 a.m. Harassment, El Cerrito Apartments – A caller said her boyfriend was drunk and harassing her. She said they were going through a separation.

12:54 p.m.

– A caller said a group of people were making speeches about how it is their right to not wear masks if they choose not to. There were a bunch of kids in the area as well.

3:43 p.m. Animal noise, Dolan Street – A caller said her neighbor’s dog had been barking virtually nonstop for three months.

6:40 p.m.

– A caller said a man had left some unused needles inside the store.

JULY 17

5:24 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Felicidad Lane – A caller said his neighbor was outside yelling and causing a disturbanc­e.

11:22 a.m.

– A caller said a man was arguing with her about wearing a mask.

1:58 p.m.

– A caller said a man was having what appeared to be a mental breakdown outside the hospital.

2:42 p.m.

– A caller said the Taos trolley driver wasn’t wearing a mask.

4:24 p.m. Civil complaint, Taos Tattoo – A caller said he tattooed a man earlier in the day, but was never paid.

9:14 p.m.

– A caller said there was an argument about an individual not wearing a mask.

JULY 18

6:19 a.m. Alcohol offense adult, Taos Urgent Care – A caller said there was a drunk man nearby who seemed to be yelling at no one in particular.

6:50 a.m.

– An officer found a vehicle parked inside the gate that looked like it had been left there overnight.

6:58 a.m.

– A caller said a man had a knife to a woman’s throat. 12:45 p.m.

– A caller said there was a fist fight starting in the area and a large crowd gathering.

2:49 p.m.

– A caller said there were a bunch of people in the park not wearing masks. An officer came by and advised them to put on masks.

8:53 p.m. Citizen assist, Kit Carson Park – A caller said her blue Ford Explorer was locked inside the park. 10:25 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Smith’s – A caller said someone wearing all black stole a case of beer.

11:38 p.m. Public indecency, Kachina Lodge – A caller said a man was running around naked in the courtyard.

JULY 19

1:43 a.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, Cielo Azul – A caller said two males were driving around in a silver Mazda SUV and had pointed a BB gun at her son.

7:12 a.m.

– A caller said a man in the area was not wearing a mask.

8:12 a.m.

– A caller said a couple of goats were roaming around. 9:25 a.m. Criminal damage, Cielo

Azul – A caller said someone had shot out the back window of his Toyota RAV4.

11:11 a.m.

– A caller said a man was trying to beat a woman at the restaurant. 2:13 p.m.

– A caller said four musicians were playing on the stage and a group of eight to 10 people were listening. No one was wearing a mask or practicing social distancing.

3:13 p.m. Trespassin­g, Kachina Lodge – A caller said a man was walking around naked again. 6:24 p.m.

– A caller said someone driving a green Subaru ran into his truck while he was pumping gas. 6:29 p.m. Public indecency, Gusdorf Place – A caller said a man at the park wearing dark pants and a button-up shirt was showing his private parts to the children. Police came and arrested him.

10:17 p.m. Prowler, Gusdorf Road – A caller said there was a peeping Tom looking into windows.
