Census pop-ups around town

If we can’t find you, you can find us: fill out your census! There are myriad pop-up places over the next weeks to get those forms in or New Mexico loses millions of federal dollars for kids, schools, health care, infrastruc­ture, you name it. Meet the artist Dean Pulver

Curator Nicole Dial-Kay will be hosting a series of short interviews with the artists featured in the Harwood Museum of Art’s newest exhibition, “Contempora­ry Art/Taos.” Tune in live to learn about artist Dean Pulver on Facebook on Wednesday (Sept. 30) from 4-4:30 p.m. “I am creating simple but rich forms to reference man and nature, engineerin­g and design, creation and invention, time and transition, growth and change,” notes the artist. Hey girls, let’s build some robots!

Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails is hosting a Girl Scouts Robot Building Party via Zoom from now until the end of November. There are multiple dates available throughout September, October and November so you can pick the best time to fit in your schedule. Who would like a pen pal?

John August Moon is 8 years old, in second grade and a student at Enos Garcia Elementary School. He has created art cards as a communicat­ion outreach project for families with loved ones who have been negatively affected by social isolation during the pandemic.
