There was great rejoicing among the infernal spirits upon learning that Sister María had died!

They had always included this maiden, who had praised the Virgin Mary in her lauds and writings, among their greatest enemies. She had clarified so many of the unknown mysteries and she had revealed the deeper meaning of the parables in Holy Writ.

The death of Sister María Agreda de Jesús was the best news for them. The supreme emperor Lucifer summoned his prime minister Lucifagus, to share in the good news with him. In turn, he sent for

Baal, Agars and Murgas, who controlled worldly riches and treasures.

Satanaquía, who was the major general and who lorded it over all witches, gave orders to those under his command: Prusias, Amon and Asmodeus were to accompany him to the funereal celebration. Prince Beelzebub danced for joy along with his captain, Agaliarepet. That wretched spirit was in charge of the occult secrets of the world. His three understudies were Boer, Gason and Mephistopheles, who mocked the nun’s death whom they saw in a helpless state.

The lieutenant general Malfleurette gave orders to his companions Batin, Pursan and Abijar to create a dark and impenetrable night, battered by hail all about. Sister María’s departure was to be an occasion celebrated by evildoers in all of creation.

So as to cause even more confusion, Astaroth, the grand duke, gave orders to his highest chief Sargantan to bring thither all of the other evil spirits to impede Sister María’s way forth. He rendered them invisible with the help of the demons: Lorai, Valefar and Foran.

Finally, the camp marshall Neburus caused sickness among the religious nuns in the convent. With the help of Aiperus, Neburus sent forth pandemics along with the evil spirits in charge of damnèd plagues.

Sister María’s death seemed to be a sad occasion and her life on earth was seen as an ill-spent time, as the result of a useless and meaningless faith. When everything seemed to be a lost cause, a prayer burst forth from Sister María’s soul: “Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle; be our protector against the wickedness and snares of the Devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power that God has given thee, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits that prowl throughout the world seeking the ruins of souls, amen.”

The gates of heaven were flung open and Sister María could see the Virgin Mary stretching forth her arms to welcome her into the heavenly Jerusalem. She was accompanied by a multitude of angels and saints, whose intercession before the most Holy Trinity caused the fall of the devils and lit up the road to perfection, as Saint Theresa used to call it.

Upon seeing the Virgin Mary, that humble and pure Mother of God, the evil spirits desperately tried to flee from her presence as quick as possible. Sister María smiled confidently upon gazing at “Mary, the terror of hell” – a name which she added to her litany of praises.

Saint Michael lost no time in locking the hinges of hell and handing its keys over to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. The queen of heaven introduced Sister María to the celestial court. She recognized the thousands upon thousands of souls who had been saved by means of her intercession and her writings on “The Mystical City of God.” taosnews.com.
