The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Oct. 7-12.

OCT. 7 Traffic accident, no injury, Smith’s

8:39 a.m.

– A caller said he had been hit from behind and his car was still in the roadway.

10:10 a.m. Missing adult, El Cerrito Apartments – A caller said one of her tenants had been missing for about four weeks.

10:52 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Herdner Road – A caller said the road constructi­on crew had their music playing at a volume way above the noise ordinance level.

12:27 p.m. Narcotics offense adult, Salazar Road – A caller said there was a pile of syringes in the roadway and wanted an officer to come dispose of them.

1:28 p.m. Criminal damage, La Milpas Lane – A caller said a female was damaging property with a hammer.

3:17 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Walgreens – A caller said two males and a female were shopliftin­g. 3:40 p.m. Embezzleme­nt, O’Reilly Auto Parts – A caller said an employee had stolen more than $2,400 from the company.

8:38 p.m. Sex offense juvenile, Stella’s Italian Restaurant –A female juvenile caller said a man had grabbed her butt outside.

OCT. 8 Property found, Gusdorf

3:09 a.m.

Road – A caller said she had found a gun in a drawer that had previously been reported missing.

1:15 p.m. Criminal damage, Gusdorf Road – A caller said a male walking by the Mary Medina Building threw a ball at her car.

4:31 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Kit Carson Park – A caller said two guys were telling her they were going to kick her in the face.

5:20 p.m.

Trespassin­g, Padre Martinez Lane

– A caller said a vagrant male threw all of his personal belongings over a wall into his yard. 5:43 p.m. Disorderly conduct, Kentucky Fried Chicken – A caller said an older man wearing camouflage was brandishin­g and waving a firearm at the entrance to the restaurant.

7:54 p.m. Utility problem, Salazar Road – A caller said he was driving and had hit a manhole cover that came off.

OCT. 9 Harassment, Walgreens

12:50 p.m.

– A caller said he wanted to speak to an officer about someone who was threatenin­g his life.

1:23 p.m. Citizen assist, Pinch Penny Wash-O-Mat – A caller said she is having trouble getting into businesses because she doesn’t wear masks due to a medical condition. 1:25 p.m.

– A caller said she was hacked by someone who said they were from Apple and purchased a gift card from Walgreens and Target.

3:25 p.m. Animal stray, Ranchos de Taos Post Office – A caller said she found a dog and some puppies in a box. She loaded them up and was going to take them to the animal shelter.

8:06 p.m.

Fraud-forgery, Walgreens Suspicious circumstan­ce, Walgreens

– A caller said there was a male lying down in the middle of the median on Paseo del Pueblo Sur.

OCT. 10 Informatio­n report, Albright Street

11:35 a.m.

– A caller said there was a parade and a protest on the street.

12:26 p.m. Criminal damage, Gusdorf Road – A caller said a man kicked her door and yelled at her that he was looking for her son.

11:48 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, La Posta Place – A caller said a driver in a gray Subaru was continuall­y ramming a fence.

OCT. 11 Structure fire, Ensueños y Los Angelitos Developmen­t Center

1:03 a.m.

– A fire alarm indicated a structure fire at the center.

8:51 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Taos Plaza – A caller said there were five people climbing on some statues. 10:06 a.m. Criminal damage, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – A caller said his campaign signs had been stolen and he had pictures of the individual who took them.

10:07 a.m. Criminal damage, North Plaza – A caller said he showed up to his shop to find that some of his signs had been ripped off.

1:29 p.m. Citizen assist, La Posta Road – A caller said there were some needles on the sidewalk.

5:41 p.m. Suicide subject, Río Grande Gorge Bridge – A caller said her boyfriend was sending her texts stating that he was planning to jump off the bridge.

9:06 p.m. Larceny, Lambert’s – A caller said a male just dined and ditched.

OCT. 12 Battery, Taos Diner II

1:16 a.m. – A caller said she wanted to file a report regarding someone who had thrown an egg at her on Saturday. 5:55 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, Walgreens – A caller said someone in the back of the store had jumped into a dumpster and was going through it.
