Investigate Trump

- By Thomas Burnham French

December 23, 2020 Mr. Barr, I am reporting a serious concern about a misuse of governmental powers by Donald John Trump. While people are dying and the COVID-19 pandemic is raging across the United States, Mr. Trump has raised $495 million since mid-October. As the nation suffers, the fascist loving, fascist leaning racketeer is robbing people of their money, tweeting out false realities about voter fraud while he still has no evidence, and playing frequent games of golf while spending much of his time visiting his properties. He seems to care less whether Americans are dying from the virus. Mr. Trump has bilked so many of his delusional, cult-following supporters for money. There are not even reasons for requests for donations in some of his internet requests and therefore no stipulations on its use. Is Mr. Trump simply using his position in his stolen presidency to request money for his own personal gain? He committed an act of treason when he publicly called on Russia to interfere in the 2016 election, offering them the bribe of media coverage. Russians complied and turned the election in Mr. Trump’s favor. He should have been disqualified from running for office. Please check on what appears to be an illegal scheme by Mr. Trump and his family to enrich themselves before he leaves the White House. I would like acknowledgement by the Department of Justice. Thank you.

The fake news and false realities that Mr. Trump has created to divide our nation are displays of his strongest ability as a con man and racketeer. He is a traitor to our democracy and an enemy of the United States.

Sincerely,

Thomas Burnham French lives in Taos.
