Lawrence Raymundo Garcia, of Taos

-

On February 1st, 2021, our loving and caring son, brother and uncle, Lawrence Raymundo Garcia went to be with our dear Lord. Lawrence was known to be a talented craftsman of many traits. Anyone who knew him, knew he was a perfectionist with anything he did and was a man that was strong in his faith and devoted to God. Lawrence was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, wherein he traveled to many places around the world. Lawrence enjoyed being in the mountains, skiing, golfing and anything to do with the outdoors. “Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.” Lawrence R. Garcia is preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Josie Garcia and his brother in law, Ernest Gomez. Lawrence is survived by his father Amadeo Ray Garcia, his sisters, Jeannette (Ray) Rael, Nancy Gomez, Marie (Thomas) Padilla. He is also survived by his nieces, Raelynn Rael (Isaac Valerio), Valerie (Eloy) Montoya, nephews, Brandon Rael (Tori Fuentes) and Michael Gomez. Great-nephew, Mateo Montoya and great-niece Brianah Montoya. The family of Lawrence Garcia would like to thank everyone for their prayers, kind words of sympathy, phone calls, food and monetary gifts. A special thank you to Rivera Funeral Home and staff for the respect and care given to our loved one. A private family service will be held with internment to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
