Millicent Rogers Museums

Vista Grande High School’s Dawning Pollen Shorty presents her museum studies class from MRM galleries, where students experience the galleries, receive materials and a series of talks from guest speakers, including MRM Board of Trustees member David Anderson.

MRM SNAP allows people receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits to visit for $1.00 (one dollar) and covers up to five people – by presenting their SNAP electronic benefits card, during any museum hours, to encourage people to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. MRM Minis The 19th Annual Miniatures Show runs through Feb. 28. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Purchased items must be left on display til March 1. Admission to the museum is free for MRM members, $10 for non-member adults; children under 10 are free. COVID restrictio­ns in place: capacity, masks and distancing required. Taos Historic Museums

Taos Historic Museums (The Blumensche­in Home and Museum and Hacienda de los Martínez) are reopened. Noted for being a “handson” president, THM’s President Daniel Barela says the structural integrity of the museums is his priority.
