The following is a condensed list of events that occurred in the town of Taos.

March 17

7:21 a.m. Larceny, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Caller said she was unloading her car and went inside a building. When she came out her equipment was gone. A man was detained. 1:39 p.m. Harassment, Walmart – Caller said a man was standing by the stop sign harassing people as they drove by.

3:28 p.m.

– Caller said a man who was highly intoxicate­d had brought his own beer into the restaurant. When asked to leave he refused.

MARCH 18

9:59 a.m. Domestic Disturbanc­e, Mariposa Apartments – Multiple callers said a woman was on the ground crying and said that she had been hit and kicked in the stomach.

– Caller said a man was walking in the middle of the highway and refusing to move for cars. 3:04 p.m.

– Caller said his friends were texting him saying they were going to get him because he was trying to serve eviction papers.

6:35 p.m. Reckless Driver, Fred Baca Park – Caller said a 12-year-old was driving a red ATV across the park at high rate of speed.

10:21 p.m. Informatio­n Report, Dominos – Caller said a couple were trying to break into the lobby because they were mad the order was taking so long.

MARCH 19

2:02 a.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ces, Allsup’s – Caller said he went into the store and no one was there, but there was money on the

– Caller said a shirtless person walked into her shop without a mask and threw a lit cigarette and a rock at her then walked out.

8:41 p.m. Psychiatri­c Behavior, Taos Haus – Caller said she was hearing her father’s voice and felt like she was being pulled. She was taken to Holy Cross.

8:59 p.m. Unconsciou­s Fainting, Walmart – Caller said a female was laying on the sidewalk and was breathing, but not responding. She was taken to Holy Cross.

MARCH 20

2:13 a.m. Overdose, La Loma Plaza

– Caller said a man was overdosing on heroin. He was taken to Holy Cross. 8:41 a.m.

– a man was found blue with no pulse and was not breathing. His body was picked up by DeVargas Funeral Home.

3:43 p.m Welfare Check, Cid’s – Caller said a man was asking for money with a puppy and was yelling at the puppy. The caller was afraid he might hurt it.

8:36 p.m. Sick Person, Mariposa Place – Caller said a neighbor came over dazed and confused and said she might have been drugged. She was taken to Holy Cross.

MARCH 21

3:22 a.m. Traffic Accident, La Posta Road – Caller said a Jeep was in a ditch and the front axle was broken. 4:46 p.m. Welfare Check, Taos Plaza – Caller said a man in tan pants was sitting on the benches yelling and cursing at other people for no reason. 7:23 p.m.

– Caller said she just got home from a trip and her door was kicked in and her TV, security cameras and microwave were missing. 10:01 p.m.

– Caller said she got home from work and someone was sitting on the bed. The person offered her some wine and said they thought no one lived there.

MARCH 22

12:54 p.m. Suspicious Circumstan­ces, Albertsons – Caller said a man was walking outside with a gun on his hip and she was worried he might cause trouble.

3:33 p.m.

– Caller said a man had been asleep in his car with the engine idling for about an hour and she was worried the car would catch on fire. 9:47 p.m. Trespassin­g, Camino de Inocencio – Caller said a man was intoxicate­d and breaking things inside the house.

 ??  ?? She was taken to Holy Cross. 11:08 a.m. Welfare Check, Paseo del Pueblo Sur counter and other vehicles in the parking lot. The manager had forgotten to lock the doors.
