“I’m preparing for the meet a little differently than past years. I’ve been relaxing and not worrying myself, but I am nervous, don’t get me wrong. I just learned not to stress myself out about something that I’ve done many times, I’m sleeping a lot to recover fast, I’m staying hydrated and eating moderately and healthy. And of course I’m staying mentally healthy, I know I’m physically fit, but this year it’s all about mentality.”
The Taos Tigers head to Albuquerque to participate in the State Tournament this weekend at Río Rancho High School.
