The following is a condensed list of events that occurred in the town of Taos.

MARCH 2 Burglary Residential, La Lomita Road

– Caller said someone broke into her house and stole jewelry.

6:40 p.m. Loitering, Bent Street – Caller said there was someone selling drugs in front of her building. 7:41 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – Caller said there was a man walking around looking for sex offenders.

MARCH 3 Disorderly Conduct, Holy Cross Hospital

7:34 a.m.

– Caller said there was a man that refused to leave after being discharged. 7:04 p.m. Larceny, Walmart – Caller said a woman stole a bunch of merchandise.

8:02 p.m. Public Affray, Dollar General – Caller said there were three to four individuals fist fighting in the parking lot. Caller also said one had a stick.

MARCH 4 Larceny, Civic Plaza

8:47 a.m.

Drive – Caller said there were 15 laptops missing that students have not brought back that had not responded.

11:58 a.m. Animal Stray, Montoya Street – Caller said someone left a cat with her but didn’t want it because it defecates everywhere. 2:51 p.m.

5:05 p.m. Narcotic Offense Adult, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Caller said a woman was doing drugs in the bathroom.

7:13 p.m. Welfare Check, Highway 85 and Weimer Road – Caller said a man was crawling into traffic by the roundabout.

MARCH 5 Welfare Check, Este Es

2:00 p.m.

Road – Caller said there was a man in a flannel shirt that was laying on the ground.

MARCH 6 Trespassing, Smith’s Food and Drug Center

1:45 p.m.

– Caller said a woman was shoplifting in the store.

5:56 p.m. Harassment, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Caller said an employee was being harassed at work.

MARCH 7 Graffiti, Nusenda

9:34 a.m. – Caller said that the building had been tagged several times over the weekend.

3:56 p.m.

– Caller said a 20-yearold man was stabbed at the cleaners across from McDonald’s. See story above for more information. 10:40 p.m. Animal Bite, Walmart

– Caller said he was bit in the leg in the parking lot.
