COCHITI LAKE: Ellery Worthen, age 81, of Albuquerque caught a limit of channel catfish weighing 2 to 5 pounds using nightcrawler worms and shrimp Feb. 20.
EAGLE NEST LAKE: Marvin L. Bonney of Albuquerque caught a 23.25-inch rainbow trout using glitter salmon eggs Feb. 26. Mary Ann Danen of White Rock caught a 21.5inch, 3-pound, 12-ounce rainbow trout using a chartreuse tube jig Feb. 20. Nevaeh Olivas, age 7, of Chamita caught a 20-inch rainbow trout using a pink Trout Magnetic lure tipped with a wax worm Feb. 20.
ELEPHANT BUTTE LAKE: Alejandro Hernandez of Hobbs caught a 28-pound striper using a bass lure Feb. 19. GALLINAS RIVER: Justin Estrada of Las Vegas caught and released a 30-inch rainbow trout using his hand-tied tungsten black and crystal flash leech pattern fly Feb. 21. GILA RIVER: Jim McDonald of El Paso, Texas, caught a 19.5-inch, 2-pound Gila trout using a green and orange Rooster Tail spinner Feb. 21.
RED RIVER: Pearl and Tom Yeager of Des Montes caught a 19.75-inch and 17.5-inch rainbow trout, respectively, using spinners Feb. 23.
SAN JUAN RIVER: Robert Bass of Eagle Mountain, Utah, and his dad, Bob Bass of Farmington, caught multiple trout in the 16- to 20-inch range using black leech pattern flies and red annelid flies Feb. 21.
