Artist and free spirit Kimberly Arlene Griswold “Lady Kimba” passed away in Taos, NM on March 10, 2022 at the age of 37. Kim was born in Espanola, NM on March 23, 1984 to Gregory T. Smith and Sofia C. Smith. Kim graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2011 with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts. Kimberly met her husband in Taos, NM in 2018. She married the love of her life Ben Griswold II on June 21st, 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri. Kimberly is survived by her fun-loving husband Ben Griswold II; a guiding father Gregory T. Smith; a caring mother Sofia Smith; four amazing siblings April Maestas, Timothy Smith, Emily Dame and Michelle Roaque; loving grandparen­ts Lucille Flores and Elizardo Flores, Uncles Bruce Smith, Glen Smith, Paul and Aunt Nadine Flores, Joseph Flores, Gerald Flores, Elizardo Jr. Flores and Octaviano Flores; and many other aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces as well as her kitties; Ava, Ziggy, and Bijou who loved her dearly. Kimberly is predecease­d by her brother Gregory Smith jr, grandfathe­r Theodore Smith, and grandmothe­r Arlene Hopkins. A celebratio­n of life for Kim will take place at 1pm at Good News Christian Fellowship on April 2nd with a burial service at Arroyo Seco Cemetery. A meal will follow the burial service at the fellowship hall at Good News Christian Fellowship Church. 933 Ranchitos Rd, Taos, NM 87571.
