APRIL 21

1:50 a.m. Shots Fired, Tewa Street – Caller said he heard two gunshots outside his window and saw the muzzle flashes. No contact was made. 2:27 a.m.

– Caller said he was cut twice and shot in the foot. The man refused to give the suspect’s name until law enforcemen­t showed up. When they arrived, they found the man to be mentally ill and without a gunshot or stab wounds. He was taken to Holy Cross for a mental evaluation.

11:34 a.m. Civil Complaint, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Caller wanted to report that a man used his water spigot. Caller said when he went to speak to the man, he became belligeren­t and took off. No contact was made.

1:57 p.m. Robbery, Dominos Pizza – Caller said a man dressed in all black clothing with a backpack went in and showed a firearm, then left the area on foot. He was tracked down and arrested.

5:09 p.m. Public Indecency, Albertsons – Caller said there was a

woman wearing a green bra walking through the parking lot and wanted someone to go tell her to put her clothes on. No contact was made.

APRIL 22

7:52 a.m. Allsup’s Northside – Caller said two guys were fighting in the parking lot; one had a hat and another had a black plastic bag. No contact was made.

9:20 a.m. Missing Juvenile, Walmart – Caller said her four-yearold went missing from her cart while she was putting groceries in the car. The child was found shortly after. 12:15 p.m. Trespassin­g, Kyote Club – Caller said two men were smoking cannabis in the courtyard and refusing to leave. Caller called back to report they had left.

3:15 p.m. Loitering, Smith’s – Caller said there was a woman in the parking lot asking for money and they wanted her removed. Officers told her to leave the area.

6:09 p.m. Welfare Check, Domino’s – Caller said a homeless man with no shirt was running at people and acting irate. No contact was made. 9:10 p.m. Citizen Assist, 5 Star Burger – Caller said a man at the restaurant who drank one beer was asking people for a ride home.

APRIL 23

6:56 a.m. Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Books Street – Caller said someone stole his motorcycle the previous night. A report was filed.

8:48 a.m. Burglary Commercial, Habitat for Humanity Re:Store – Caller said someone broke into the business and stole a TV. A report was filed.

10:22 a.m. Assault, Albertsons – Caller said he witnessed a man pull out a shotgun and point it at his girlfriend in the parking lot. A report was filed.

3:39 p.m. Alcohol Offense, Speedway – An intoxicate­d caller said someone hit her with a stroller. Contact was made and she was removed from the property.

7:21 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, Revolt Gallery – Caller said the gallery was playing loud and “abusive” music with foul language.

APRIL 24

1:53 p.m. Trespassin­g, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Caller said a man wearing all black was bothering customers for money and they wanted him removed. He left the property prior to law enforcemen­t arrival. 2:10 p.m. Informatio­n Report, Alberstons – Caller said someone in a black Toyota Camry followed him from the store to his house and he wanted to speak with an officer. 5:11 p.m. Welfare Check, Kit Carson Road – Caller said there was a homeless woman laying on the ground passed out after taking a lot of pills. The woman was detained but not arrested.

8:59 p.m. Loitering, Paseo del Cañon – Caller said there was a homeless camp in a field that had a fire. The fire was put out by the Taos Fire Department.

APRIL 25 Disturbing the Peace, Paseo del Pueblo Norte

5:30 a.m.

– Caller said that people were arguing and honking their car horns. One man was taken to Holy Cross after he was found bleeding from his eyes. No arrests were made at the time. 10:23 a.m. Structure Fire, Carson Trailer Park – Caller said her father’s trailer was on fire after a fire started in the backyard. The Taos Fire Department put out the blaze. 11:52 a.m. Animal Stray, Taos High School – Caller said a white pit bull was in a staff member’s office. The dog was taken to Stray Hearts. 1:54 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Ace Hardware – Caller said someone stole a patio set from the store and took off in a maroon Chevy Envoy. The vehicle was pulled over and a woman was arrested.

3:52 p.m. Battery, Albertsons

– Caller said someone in a black Hyundai physically attacked him in the parking lot. The assailant was issued two citations.

5:09 p.m. Shopliftin­g, Albertsons

– Caller said there were two women stealing from the store. They were both arrested.
