Astrological Planetary Predictions 2023

- BY KEN BRESEE

THERE ARE SOME MAJOR planetary shifts as we enter the New Year. Transformational Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 when the market crashed and has brought about a transformation of our financial institutions as we imminently move towards a global digital currency. Economic uncertainty continues to be a major theme throughout 2023 as the markets scramble and reorganize.

Pluto has been at the exact position of 1776 these last two years in late Capricorn, which has sparked division and global revolution. We are collectively questioning our national and global values and are on the brink of a new time, a new society. It is up to us how we proceed from here as a nation and as a planet.

Pluto will finally move into Aquarius after fourteen years in Capricorn. This officially ushers us collectively into the Aquarian Age, which places emphasis on how we, as a humanity, honor our individuality and diversity within the collective whole. We can no longer afford to stand apart from each other as we collectively seek to create unity and common ground. This is the ultimate goal of the New Age as we step into a new 2,000-year cycle (Precession of the equinox) and envision unity and global cooperation, or global oppression, as we move towards a one-world society.

By late March into June, Pluto begins its shift into Aquarius which will likely accelerate massive change on a Global scale as we reassess our national goals as a country. The European Union will continue to be questioned and scrutinized as Europeans seek greater autonomy and independence. Pluto dips back into late Capricorn through the end of the year as we rally to establish financial stability. It won’t be until 2024 before Pluto steadily moves into Aquarius, where it resides till 2043. The sanctity and survival of humanity will be determined during this twenty year Pluto cycle.

Saturn (Taskmaster), which represents the very structure of society, has spent these last three years in volatile,

revolutionary Aquarius since March 2020, which has brought us into a pandemic, war and social unrest. This has been fueled by Uranus (The Disrupter) which has been in a jarring square (stress) to Saturn on-and-off throughout 2022. The very fabric of society has been forever changed during this Uranian explosion as repressed anger has been triggered and released.

By early March, Saturn will finally exit Aquarius and enter watery, reflective Pisces through May 2025. There is an opportunity to reach a peaceful agreement with Russia/Ukraine through diplomacy late-March into early April 2023, as Saturn will be in positive aspect (Trine) to militaristic Mars in Cancer. The overall tone of Saturn in Pisces will, in general, prove to be less volatile and disruptive. Saturn will also be in harmonious connection (Sextile) to Pluto during this same period, which furthers the possibility of a peaceful resolution and cooperation through diplomacy.

During this introspective Saturn Pisces period, we will collectively turn inwards and withdraw from the uncertainty and anxiety of these last few years, in an attempt to regain composure and normalcy. However, this could also induce complacency during this dreamy, fuzzy Saturn/Pisces time, as we are less willing to jump into the frey of frenzy of uncertainty. This intense Pluto/Uranus/Saturn combo has forever changed the way we view the world.

Expansive Jupiter broadens our world view and provides the objectivity to see the bigger picture as a people as we seek unification. Jupiter slips back into fiery Aries where it spent much of 2022 as we enter the New Year Jan. 1 where it will reside until mid-May. This is high energy and starts the New Year off with a bang. This works well with energetic Mars in Gemini late-January, early-February, which is enthusiastic and brings hope and promise into 2023.
