Michael Imperial of Eagleville

Michael Anthony Imperial, “Mike,” 49, of Eagleville, Pa., passed away on Monday Jan. 27, 2014, of a heart attack in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by family.

Mike was born in Norristown, Pa., on June 13, 1964. He attended Spring-Ford High School.

Mike worked as a mechanic and truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching TV and spending time with his friends and family. He was also actively involved in volunteering for many years as a little league football coach for the Methacton Wolverines

In addition to his wife of 27 years, Renee S. Imperial (Brownlie), Mike is survived by his five children, Daniel Imperial and his wife, Larissa, Michael Hoffman and his fiancé, Marta Carlson, Brian Imperial, Nicole Feist and her husband, Jon, and Jennifer Imperial; five grandchildren, Parker, Anthony, Hailey, Nicholas and Tanner; one sister, Sandra Messer (Imperial), and her husband, Tim; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his relatives and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Imperial and Dolores Imperial (Hunsicker); as well as his brother, Thomas “Tommy” Imperial.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, 955 N. Charlotte St. Pottstown, PA 19465. A Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Chaplain Drew Deagler will officiate. Interment private.
