In what has become a Halloween-time tradition, “The Simpsons” present the 28th “Treehouse of Horror” special. This time, Maggie becomes possessed by an ancient demon, Lisa discovers a creepy/perfect version of her family in an alternate universe and Homer cannibaliz­es himself. 8 p.m., Fox.

Reunited at last! After decades apart, Jamie and Claire finally rekindle their emotional and physical bonds on “Outlander.” It’s a super-sized, 74-minute episode because, well, these romantic reunions take time. 8 p.m., Starz.

You may have heard that Jamie Lee Curtis is set to appear in a “Halloween” reboot next year. Now here’s your chance to see her again in the 1978 film that launched the horror franchise. It’s part of the annual “FearFest” film festival. 9:30 p.m., AMC.

The force is strong with “Black-ish” as the Johnsons don “Star Wars”-themed costumes for Halloween. But before the kids can begin trick-ortreating, Dre makes them endure a rowdy family game night, and the competitio­n is fierce. 9 p.m., ABC.

Brace yourself for “Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker’s Wild.” Yes, it’s a reboot of the classic game show, with the weedloving hip-hop star leading the way in an “expanded” role as host. Wild, indeed. 10 p.m., TBS.

“The Goldbergs” hits the 100th episode mark tonight with a Halloween episode. When Adam and Jackie can’t agree on a costume, Murray teaches his son how to be a shell of a man in order to keep his girl happy. 8 p.m., ABC.

On “Supertstor­e,” a dead body is discovered in Cloud 9 on Halloween, throwing Glenn and Dina into a panic. Meanwhile, Amy and Garrett get into big trouble using a dating app. 8 p.m., NBC.

Funny how TV works. As a new season of “Blindspot” begins, it has been 18 months since the FBI team parted ways under mysterious circumstan­ces. Now, the show hits the “reset” button and the unit is brought back together by a new crisis. 8 p.m., NBC.

“Michael Jackson’s Halloween” is a new animated special that uses Jackson’s pop hits as its soundtrack. The story follows two millennial­s (voiced by Lucas Till and Kiersey Clemons), who meet “accidental­ly” on Halloween night and find themselves, along with Ichabod the dog, at a mysterious hotel. 8 p.m., CBS.

The new TV film “Flint” recalls the crisis that shook a nation, and explores how local whistleblo­wers exposed the truth about the toxic waste flowing through the town’s water supply.
