Mary (Nigro) Richardson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was 79. Mrs. Richardson was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a Department Manager for the JC Penney Department Store in King of Prussia. Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport, PA. She enjoyed watching the Flyers and Phillies, and going to the Chester County Casinos. Mary was known for her Christmas Spirit and spoiling her grandchild­ren. She always said “if you weren’t spoiled, you weren’t loved.”

Born in Bridgeport, PA on October 1, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (DeCounto) Nigro. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of over 60 years, Thomas D. Richardson; a son, Thomas D. Richardson, Jr. of King of Prussia, PA; two daughters, Patricia Klock and her husband, Joseph, of Wayne, PA and her best friend, Christine “Tina” Inforzato of King of Prussia, PA; three grandchild­ren, Stephanie Klock, Kimberly Klock and James Bereda; two sisters, Lilian Roberts of Jeffersonv­ille, PA and Louise Nigro of King of Prussia, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Mary’s Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:30 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made in Mary’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd., Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
