Robert Philip Weaver, 90, of Trooper, PA, passed away peacefully in the company of loving family members on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at his home. Born on November 29, 1926 in Philadelph­ia, he was the son of the late Robert Philip Weaver of Bellefonte, PA, and the late Mildred (Phillips) Weaver of Peekskill, NY and the loving husband for 55 years to Katharine (Legge) Weaver.

Robert attended Overbrook High School in West Philadelph­ia and for 47 years worked as a printer for Boice Folding Box of Trevose, PA. Robert was always upbeat and positive and quick with a joke or to help someone in need. A frequent traveler around the U.S. in his younger days, he had many interests and was a lifelong learner. An avid chemist and railroad/train buff, he also enjoyed classical music, ice hockey, reading and politics.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Janice Kearney of Trooper, PA; Robert Philip (Michele) Weaver, Jr. of Palmyra, PA; and Lois (Alan) Gray of Trooper, PA, as well as five grandchild­ren, Caitlin (Hunter) Ziegler of Millbrook, Alabama; Xavia Publius of Edmonton, Alberta Canada; Shaun (Logan) Weaver of Carlisle, PA; Rachel Steinberg of Trooper, PA and Wesley Kearney of Trooper, PA.

Burial will be private at the convenienc­e of the family.
