Dorothy Mae Swetkowski of East Norriton

Dorothy Mae “Dot” (Kriebel) Swetkowski, age 87, of East Norriton, PA passed away peacefully on Monday November 6, 2017. She was born in Conshohocken, PA on March 24, 1930. Dot lived in East Norriton, Pa., for over 60 years. She was born and raised in Conshohocken, Pa., and was a graduate of the former Conshohocken High School, where she was a cheerleader. In her early years, Dot worked at Freas Glassworks in Conshohocken, Pa. She enjoyed following her “story”, “The Young and the Restless,” watching Philadelphia sports, gardening, and trips to the casino with her lifelong best friend Nancy Sievert.

Daughter of the late Harold D. & Ora (Nixon) Kriebel. Loving wife of Leon S. “Mike” Swetkowski for over 62 years. Mother of Mark (& Tammy) Swetkowski of Conshohocken PA, and David (& Lorraine) Swetkowski of Plymouth Meeting PA. Loving Nana of eight grandchildren, Julia, Emily, Scott, Nicholas, Ryan, Monika, Rachel & Danny. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold D. Kriebel, Jr.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Thursday November 9, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken.

Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken PA.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
