Volleyball teams “Dig in” and raise money

St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish recently hosted a day of volleyball at the Education Center. The girl’s JV and Varsity volleyball teams competed against local schools in their ‘Dig in’ Against Cancer Tournament. In addition to playing hard on the court, they also served up baked goods, a 50/50, and a basket raffle. The Bengal’s game plan was an ace, as they netted $1,300 to benefit For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation. — Submitted by Kim Canning
