Delaware Valley University junior quarterback Dashawn Darden, a Cardinal O’Hara grad and Norristown native, has been selected as the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Week following his performance in the 47-13 victory over Widener University that clinched the conference championship and an NCAA playoff berth. Darden did most of his damage with his legs as he rushed for 133 yards and four touchdowns while also throwing a 25-yard scoring pass. His touchdown runs went for 17, 28, 11 and one yard(s).
