Ed also enjoyed kite flying and teaching his family, children, and grandchildren the joys of this hobby. All of this was still second to his love for his Philadelphia sports teams. Ed also loved the local college teams, especially Penn State, celebrating the successes and failures with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Vicki, and his mother, Dolores, he is survived by two daughters, Abbie Freuwoerth and her husband, Gerd, of Vienna, VA, and Keri Borzillo and her husband, Scott, of Norristown; a son, Eddie Guzzardo of Norristown; and three grandchildren, Danica, Kati and Jacob.
