Marie A. Barbine of Bridgeport

Marie A. Barbine of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 16, 2017 with her family by her side. She was 81 years old. Born January 7, 1936 in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Carmella (nee Bruno) DiNolfi and the beloved wife of Amedeo Barbine with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Marie was employed by AT&T for 23 years. She was a past president of the Bridgeport Senior Centre and a member of the Padre Pio Society. Marie was an avid reader and enjoyed the beach and going to the casinos. Marie was a long time fan of the game show “Jeopardy.” She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marie will be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

In addition to her husband, Amedeo, Marie is survived by her four children, Nina Hamaday (Michael), Gina Barbine, Dino Barbine (Lori), and Tom Barbine (Toni-Marie); eight grandchildren, Alfred (Jessica), Jaclyn (Andrew), Angela (Rob), Michael (Tara), Dana (Cainan), Colin, Deven (Doug), and Anthony; nine great-grandchildren, Jack, Madlyn, Shane, Avery, Lily, Archer, Robbie, Dean, and Nic, two sisters, Mary Marinari, and Vivian Burr; and her brother Tony Pellegrino (Peggy). She was preceded in death by her three sisters Angeline Fazzari, Marian Gordon, and Josephine Salamone and her two brothers Frank Pellegrino and Joseph DiNolfi.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marie’s Life Celebration on Tuesday November 21, from 6 to 8 PM at BoydHorrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-2777000 and on Wednesday from 9 to 9:50 AM at Holy Saviour Church 407 East Main St. Norristown, PA. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 10 AM at the Church. Interment will be at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
