Ralph W. Hoffman Jr., formerly of Norristown

Ralph W. Hoffman, Jr., 90, formerly of Norristown, PA, passed away November 29, 2017 at St. Mary Manor in Lansdale, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan (Cifelli) Hoffman, in 2012.

Born May 3, 1927 in Conshohocken, PA, he was a son of the late Ralph Hoffman, Sr. and Ruth (Shaffer) Hoffman Kinney. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Hoffman was employed with Bell Telephone, A.T. & T. and Verizon.

Surviving is a daughter, Susan T. Foley, and her husband, Mark F., of Franconia, PA; a son, Ralph W. Hoffman III, and his wife, Marie W., of Lansdale; four grandchildren, Mark F. Foley,Jr. and his wife, Beth, Eileen Foley Breck and her husband, Michael, and Matthew W. and Gerald J. Hoffman; and a great-grandson, Alexander Breck.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Hoffman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 10:30AM on December 6, 2017, at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Rd., Skippack, PA, where family will receive friends for the viewing beginning at 9:30AM.
