Rosemary S. Pitzer, formerly of Montgomeryville

Rosemary S. Pitzer passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017 at age 92. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 31, 1925, Rosemary was the daughter of Anna (Cunningham) and James P. Steimer. Before moving to Gilbert, AZ, Rosemary lived in Montgomeryville, PA with her beloved husband, the late Thomas C. Pitzer Jr.

Rosemary was the loving mother of the late Janyce L. Piccolo (the late Robert Piccolo), Thomas R. Pitzer (Kathleen), the late Roger C. Pitzer (Eileen), Barbara A. Dryburgh (Walter) and Patricia A. Pitzer (John Morris). She was the cherished grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 21. Rosemary was the dear sister of Maureen Wagner and was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent P. Steimer, and sister Jeannie Ryan.

Rosemary was an avid golfer and bridge player, as well as an accomplished Realtor, seamstress and gourmet cook.

Relatives and friends are invited to Rosemary’s Life Celebration at BoydHorrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 W. Germantown Pike on Friday, December 8, from 6-8 PM and again Saturday, December 9, from 8:30-9:30 AM. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at Visitation BVM Church at 10:30 AM followed by interment at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
