John Carmine Foresta of Lower Providence
John Carmine Foresta, 66, of Lower Providence, PA, formerly of Phoenixville, PA, died at his home on December 3, 2017, surrounded by his family following hospice care. John was born in Philadelphia and spent his younger years in East Lansdowne, PA. He is survived by his loving wife Celeste (née Bucko); sisters, Frances (Kenneth) Boyko of Orefield, PA, MaryLou (Douglas) Jones of Henderson, NV, and sister-inlaw Margaret Foresta of Glen Mills, PA. He is also survived by his stepsons, Charles (Vicky) Bunczk, Matthew Bunczk, Nicholas (Richelle) Bunczk; two grandsons, Will and Sam; nieces, Amber, Lisa, Diana; nephews, Steven, Daniel and Kyle; and many greatnieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Carmine and Lucy (Tocci) Foresta, and brother Daniel “Roll” Foresta.
After graduating from college, he settled into the insurance field as a compliance officer. Following that, he spent time as a driver for a medical patient transport service where he enjoyed building friendly rapport with his clients. He loved sports — his favorite was baseball. And he always had a project around the house in the works to look forward to. Above all, John was most devoted to loving and caring for his family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Avenue, Trooper, PA 19403 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s name to the charity of your choice.
