Michael Drabick of Jeffersonville
Michael Drabick, age 60, of Jeffersonville, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Einstein Montgomery Hospital, East Norriton, PA.
Born on April 15, 1957 in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley and Madlyn (Cullather) Drabick.
He was a graduate of Methacton High School, Class of 1975. In 1979 he graduated from Ursinus College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
He was the Director of Social Services for Rosemont Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bryn Maw r.
He was a self-taught musician, having played the guitar, drums and bass. He wrote, recorded, and produced his own music.
He was the founder and songwriter for his band, Sky’s Edge.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking the Appalachian Mountains, wilderness camping, canoeing, and astronomy.
He had a true zest for life.
Surviving are his sisters, Sharon “Sherri” Hundley (Rich Claycomb) of Eagleville, Sally Ann Blattner (Ken) of Jeffersonville, and Noelle Giampietro (Lou) of Gilbertsville; nieces and nephews, Michelle Blattner, Amanda Hundley, Alexandra and Kristina Giampietro, and Jonathan and Nicholas Giampietro; and two great-nephews, Ethan and Parker Stem.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mike’s Celebration of Life Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main St., at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at 12:00pm.
A visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10:00am to 12 noon at the Funeral Home.
As Mike would have wanted, the dress code is informal.
