As books are read, participan­ts will expand their knowledge of literature through discussion, and then follow up by producing a take home craft that will allow participan­ts to experiment with different mediums. Star Wars Day: Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join the library for an all-ages celebratio­n of everything Star Wars, with special guests The Rebel Legion. At 10 a.m., start the day with costume contests with prizes for adults, teens and kids. Put on your best getup from a long time ago and far, far away, and win prizes for your creativity. At 10:30 a.m., The Rebel Legion will join us to lead a trivia game with prizes. We will also hold a Star Wars impression contest for anyone daring enough to make their best Wookiee or Yoda voices. Between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., there will be stations for face painting, Star Wars-themed crafts, snacks, a photo booth with props and a wireless instant printer and more.
