Elizabeth W. Ferris of Conshohocken

Elizabeth W. (Waldron) Ferris, 90, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 25, 1927.

Betty was born and raised in the Fairmont Section of Philadelphia and lived most of her life in Conshohocken, PA.

She was a member of St. Matthew’s RC Church of Conshohocken, PA.

She attended Germantown High School.

Betty was a loving mother to not only her seven children but to anyone who showed up at her door. There was always a pot of coffee and a piece of homemade pound cake waiting for you. She was an avid reader, a marvelous baker, a talented seamstress and a passionate bingo player.

Daughter of the Late William & Elizabeth (Sweeney) Waldron. Beloved wife of the late Daniel B. Ferris. Survivors include her Daughter: Joan Fleming of Conshohocken, PA, Daughter: Marina (& James) Cullison of Gettysburg PA, Son: Timothy (& Terry) Ferris of Conshohocken PA, Son: Patrick (& Chris) Ferris of Kutztown PA, Son: Daniel (& Janet) Ferris of Glen Mills PA, Daughter: Cathy (& Brian) Dougherty of Alpharetta GA, Daughter: Mary (& Jerry) Davis of East Falls PA. Also survived by 16 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister Mary Clifton and a brother William “Bud” Waldron.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2018 at 10:30 AM from the St. Matthew’s RC Church Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Jan 16, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM & Wednesday, Jan 17, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken PA.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: St. Vincent DePaul Society c/o St. Matthew’s 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
