George L. Kocher of Royersford

George L. Kocher, 87, of Royersford, PA passed away on Saturday January 20, 2018.

He was born in Norristown, PA on April 14, 1930.

George lived in Royersford for the last 16 years, formerly of Limerick, PA and Norristown, PA where he was born and raised. He served in the US Air Force.

George was the original owner and operator of Dutch Oven Bakery of Limerick, PA, formerly of Norristown.

George loved animals and enjoyed breeding and showing dogs for a period of his life.

Son of the Late William & Alice (Phillips) Kocher, survivors include his beloved wife Nancy Kocher of Royersford PA; daughter, Kathie Watson of Pottstown PA; step son, Daniel Fritsch of Birdsboro PA; brother, John Kocher of Oregon; sister, Alice “Tutty” Sansaverino of Royersford PA; and sister, Diane Sherman of Phoenixville PA.

He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents George was preceded in death by his first wife Sara Kocher and their son Kevin Kocher.

His funeral service and interment will be private.
