Wilbur Robinson

Wilbur Robinson, age 84, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at his Shickshinny, PA home. Born April 30, 1933, in Germantown, Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Wilbur and Eleanor Robinson.

He enjoyed his transition from the city to Collegeville and then to his mountain home in Shickshinny, PA.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by siblings Eleanor, William and James Robinson; daughter, Eileen Robinson; son-in-law Joseph Burns; and grandson Connor Robinson.

He is survived by his beloved wife, June (McCook) Robinson of 61 years of marriage; nine children, John Robinson (Carol), Mary Pat Rohe (David), Tom Robinson (Dianne), Marie Burns (Joseph), Joyce Legge (Robert), June Becker (Kevin), Ellen Wilson (Mark), Bridget Leddy, James Robinson (Charlene). He was a cherished grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Debbie, James, William, JoAnn and Mark.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am followed by Mass at St. Eleanor Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Spirit Parish/St. Mary’s Church, Mocanaqua, PA, St. Eleanor Church, Collegeville, PA, or Commonwealth Home Health & Hospice of Berwick, PA.
