Andrew Katch of East Norriton

Andrew “Pappy” Katch, age 89, of East Norriton, PA passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie (nee Patrick). Mr. Katch was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Visitation BVM Church. Andrew was an accomplished Artist, he loved music and dancing and he was a huge Eagles and Phillies fan. He was a printer by trade and later owned and operated his own sign shop.

Andrew was born in Mount Carmel PA on June 18, 1928. He was the son of the late Andrew and Anna (nee Bodnar) Katch. He is survived by three sons Michael (Gail), Andrew (Mick), Greg (Mirella), one daughter Sheri (Pete) Fay, one brother Bob Katch, two sisters Rita Dombroski and Marie Ross.

Also, survived by grandchildren Amanda, Jennie, Michael Jr, Terry, Danny, Brad, Ryan and Andrew and one great grandchild Jack. He was predeceased by a twin brother John.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 19th from 9:30 to 11 AM at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton. A brief service at the funeral home will follow from 11 to 11:30 AM. Burial will be at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA following the service.
