Russell H. Malloy of Oxford
Russell H. Malloy, 86, of Oxford, PA passed away on February 17, 2018.
He was born in Norristown, PA on November 11, 1931, the son of the late Frank and Annie (Hague) Malloy, Sr.
Russell has been living in Oxford, PA for 4 years, formerly of King of Prussia. He was a member of Gulph United Church of Christ. He had a long career working for Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO) for 35 years. Russell enjoyed sports and was a three sport athlete at Upper Merion High School. He enjoyed watching and listening to Phillies and Eagles games. He also coached youth sports. Russell also enjoyed trips to the Poconos. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Russell was the husband of the late Jean (Nippes) Malloy.
Survivors include his two sons, Terry (& Kelly) Malloy of Collegeville and Gary (& Marianne) Malloy of Royersford; daughter, Judy (& Gary) Ham of Nottingham, PA; sister, Mildred Mitchell of King of Prussia; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife and parents, Russell was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Malloy, Jr.; two sisters, Emma Jane Gresh and Laura Hetrick; and grandson, Timothy Ham.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Gulph United Church of Christ, 100 Matsonford Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
Interment will be private in Gulph Christian Cemetery.
