Robert T. Knobler II, of Chesterbro­ok, passed away on March 4th 2018 at the age of 72. He was the beloved husband of Judith (née Pappas) Knobler.

Born in Montgomery, AL, Robert was the son of the late Jeanne (née Stiles) and Robert T. Knobler. He graduated from Norristown High School in 1963 and attended Millersvil­le State College. He was a medic in the United States Army stationed in Germany from 1965 to 1968. Following his honorable discharge, he lived in London, England for a year and then returned to the United States where he spent his career as a travel agent.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children Christophe­r (Natalia) and Trevor (Ky.), grandchild­ren Julia and Michael, brother Richard Knobler (Vicki), brotherinl­aw Richard Pappas, sister-in-law Janet Klingaman (William), three nieces, a nephew and his devoted greyhound, Shock.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Robert’s life on Thursday March 15th , from 10:30 –11:00 AM at Boyd-HorroxGivn­ish, 200 W. Germantown Pike in Norristown, with his Funeral Service to immediatel­y follow. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
