SEPTA bus involved in midday accident

UPPER MERION » A multi-vehicle crash involving a SEPTA bus snarled midday traffic and resulted in several minor injuries Monday near the intersecti­on of South Henderson and South Gulph roads by exit 329 of the Schuylkill Expressway.

According to police, the incident was called in at 11:45 a.m. The bus and a landscapin­g truck were traveling north on South Gulph Road when they collided with a truck carrying a crane which was exiting the expressway.

All three vehicles sustained some damage and the bus driver, one of the truck drivers and several passengers on the bus complained of injuries.

The incident scene was cleared around 1:10 p.m.
