Dock beat Halifax, 6745, in the first round while MC&S topped Panther Valley 101-57.

The winner faces the winner of Holy Cross and Bishop McCort in the quarterfin­als Saturday.

PW beat Central York, 5843, in the first round. The Redskins beat Hazelton, 4128.

The teams met a couple weeks ago in the district playbacks and the Colonials won, 47-44, at PW. Taylor O’Brien led the way with 23 points.

The winner faces the winner of Souderton and Easton in the quarterfin­als Friday. UPPER DUBLIN VS. GARNET VALLEY » District 1 ninth place finisher Upper Dublin faces District 1 third place finisher Garnet Valley in the second round at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Harriton High School.

The Cardinals stunned Cardinal O’Hara, 42-35 in double overtime, in the first round while Garnet Valley snuck by Elizabetht­own, 56-53.

The win over O’Hara was a year in the making for Upper Dublin after getting blown out by the Lions in the first round of the 2017 state playoffs.

Upper Dublin lost a threepoint lead at the end of regulation when they fouled a three-point shooter, who went on to make all three shots. Jess Polin hit a key three-pointer and made three free throws in the final 1:30 of the second overtime to help finish the upset. Polin finished with 12 points.

Upper Dublin enters the game as winners of eight of its past nine games.

The winner faces the winner of Abington and Freedom in the quarterfin­als Friday. ABINGTON VS. FREEDOM » District 1 fifth place finisher Abington faces District 11 champion Freedom in the second round Tuesday at Spring-Ford High School at 7:30 p.m.

The Ghosts beat Wilson, 59-44, in the first round while Freedom handled Perk Valley, 59-42.

The winner faces the winner of Upper Dublin and Garnet Valley in the quarterfin­als Friday.

ARCHBISHOP WOOD VS. TWIN VALLEY » District 12 champion Archbishop Wood faces District 3 third place finisher Twin Valley in the second round Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Harriton High School.

Wood handled Springfiel­d Delco in the first round, 46-25, while Twin Valley held off Mount St. Joseph, 51-45.

The Vikings will have their hands full defending Peyton McDaniel and Taylor Blunt, who combined for 38 points in the first round.

The winner faces the winner of Susquehann­ock and WC Henderson in the quarterfin­als Saturday. ARCHBISHOP CARROLL VS. LOWER DAUPHIN » District 12 third place finisher Archbishop Carroll takes on District 3 runner up Lower Dauphin in the second round Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Governor Mifflin Intermedia­te School.

Carroll won its first round game against Villa Maria Academy, 46-37, and Lower Dauphin took out WC Rustin, 66-48.

The winner faces the winner of Palmyra and Oakland Catholic in the quarterfin­als Saturday.

LOWER MORELAND VS. SCRANTON PREP » District 1 runner up Lower Moreland faces District 2 champion Scranton Prep in the second round Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Liberty High School in Bethlehem.

Lower Moreland is coming off a thrilling 44-42 win over Audienried. Scranton Prep beat Wyomissing 4933.

The winner faces the winner of Lancaster Catholic and Allentown CC in the quarterfin­als Saturday. GWYNEDD MERCY ACADEMY VS. GREATER NANTICOKE » District 1 champion Gwynedd Mercy Academy takes on District 2 runner up Greater Nanticoke in the second round Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Hamburg High School.

Gwynedd is coming off a dominant 77-21 win over Carver E&S in the first round. Greater Nanticoke got past Danville, 42-31.

The Monarchs had all 13 players score points in their first round win and hope to keep everyone involved as the season rolls on.

The winner faces the winner of Bonner-Prendergas­t and Bethlehem Catholic in the quarterfin­als Saturday.

THE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY VS. BENTON » District 1 thirdplace finisher The Christian Academy faces District 4 runner up Benton in the second round Wednesday at Freedom High School at 6 p.m.

TCA won its first round game over Weatherly, 49-43, while Benton topped Lancaster Country Day, 47-31.

The winner faces the winner of Lebanon Catholic and Greenwood in the quarterfin­als Saturday. JENKINTOWN VS. LINDEN HALL » District 1 champion Jenkintown faces District 3 runner up Linden Hal in the second round Wednesday at Spring-Ford High School at 6 p.m.

Jenkintown beat the Christian School of York, 6632, in the first round while Linden Hall beat Southern Fulton, 56-34.

The Drakes, sitting at 271, hope to extend their dominant season.

The winner faces the winner of Lourdes Regional and Sullivan County in the quarterfin­als Saturday.
