Genevieve B. Russell of West Conshohocken

Genevieve B. Russell, “Gennie”, 87, of West Conshohocken, PA, passed away on March 19, 2018.

She was born in West Conshohocken, PA on December 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Martin A. Bowe Sr. and Catherine (McCloskey) Bowe.

Gennie was born and raised in West Conshohocken where she lived all of her life.

She was a graduate of Conshohocken High School.

She was a member of the former St. Gertrude’s Church of West Conshohocken.

Gennie was an avid gardener. She loved taking care of her yard and pool.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Russell.

Survivors include her two sisters: Margaret Palmer and Elizabeth (& David) Kelly; two brothers: Thomas (& Elizabeth) Bowe and Gerald Bowe; two sisters in law: Catherine Bowe and Jean Russell; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, Gennie was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Bowe Bengan and Maryann Horn and three brothers, Lawrence, Edward & Martin Bowe.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
