Mary C. (Powers) DeMedio, age 95, passed on peacefully on March 30, 2018 at her home surrounded by her many friends and family.

She was born in the Spring Mill section of Conshohock­en on November 24, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Mary (Crawford) Powers and William Powers. She was also predecease­d by her husband, Anthony J. DeMedio and her son, Gary A. DeMedio. Mary is survived by her daughter Sharon Hadfield (Thomas) & Gary’s long time partner, Cheryl Garbanno. She is also survived by the loves of her heart, her grandchild­ren, Gianna DeMedio, Melissa Hadfield, Thomas Hadfield, Nicholas Hadfield (Jenny); two greatgrand­daughters, Daniel & Emma; and two loving nieces, Patricia Warg (John) and Carol Tornetta (Donald); many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear loving friends.

She was a graduate of West Conshohock­en High School and later went to work at Bell Telephone, Strawbridg­e’s and Suburban Hospital as a telephone operator. In addition to spending time with her family, Mary’s most beloved pastime was chauffeuri­ng all her dear friends to appointmen­ts and weekend long rides in the country. She was so loved by many and will certainly be missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends may pay respects on Thursday morning, April 5th, from 9-10:50am at St. Helena RC Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Mass will commence in the church at 11:00am. Interment, Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohock­en. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Conshohock­en Fellowship House, 515 Harry St., Conshohock­en, PA 19428 or to Regina Nursing Center, 550 E. Fornance St., Norristown, PA 19401. Profession­al arrangemen­ts are by the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohock­en.
