SPRING SEASONAL/ SENSORY LESSON Thursday, April 12: – Children will learn about their five senses during this program at Norristown Farm Park. They and their adult chaperones will explore the natural world with particular emphasis on using each sense to learn about the surroundin­g woods and fields. There will be games and activities that are known to improve sensory skills. Learn how animals use their senses to find food and survive in the wild. Friends and family invite everyone to celebrate the life of David Friday beginning at 7 p.m. at Screwballs, 216 W. Beidler Road, King of Prussia. All proceeds benefit the David Friday Memorial Scholarshi­p Funds, and checks should be made out to Pope John Paul II High school. Organizers ask that attendees wear green and gold in memory of David Friday. Donations will be accepted at the door. TASTE OF THE SUBURBS 2018 Sunday, April 15: The King of Prussia Rotary Club is pleased to announce that tickets for Taste of the Suburbs 2018 are on sale online at kingofprus­siarotary.org. This year’s event will showcase food and drink specialtie­s from over 30 restaurant­s, wineries and micro- breweries. Many of King of Prussia’s newest restaurant­s will be participat­ing for the first time. Tickets cost $40 on line or $50 at the door. The event runs from 6:30 PM to 9 PM Sunday April 15 at the King of Prussia Mall. All ticket proceeds go to the Club’s charitable foundation that supports scholarshi­ps, first responders and local service organizati­ons that help meet community needs.
