Register for Jake’s Run 2 Remember

Walk or run in this 5th anniversary 5K event in honor of fallen hero and Norristown Area High School graduate Jason “Jake” Moletzsky on Sunday, May 20. Participation options include individual or team registration. Registration fees are waived for current students. Anyone who is not a student (over 18) may register to run at $30 a person before May 14 by visiting http://www.jakesrun2remember.com/home.html. Proceeds from the event benefit the Jason S. Moletzsky Memorial Scholarship Fund awarded to a senior at NAHS with plans to enter the military following graduation.

Jake Moletzsky was one of seven Guardians and two Marines who were lost at sea when his Coast Guard C-130 airplane suffered a mid-air collision with a Marine Corps AH-1W helicopter on October 29, 2009.

The inaugural Jake’s Run 2 Remember took place on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Since its inception, Jake’s R2R has gathered over 1,300 supporters and raised over $75K.
