Samuel Peter Tassoni Jr. of King of Prussia

Samuel Peter Tassoni Jr. passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Suburban Community Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. He was 59. Mr. Tassoni was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He was a graduate of Upper Merion Area High School, Class of 1976. Samuel worked as a truck driver, operator, and jack of all trades for Mancini Construction in Malvern, PA for over 35 years. He was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA and a former member of the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Co. He was an avid hunter until his health declined. Samuel was an excellent mechanic who loved to be hands on.

Born in Norristown, PA on June 10, 1958, he was a son of the late Samuel P. Tassoni, Sr. and Nancy M. (Ross) Tassoni. Surviving is his loving family including a daughter, Alexandra Leigh Tassoni of Philadelphia, PA; a son, Samuel Peter Tassoni, III of King of Prussia, PA; two brothers, David F. Tassoni and his wife, Mary, of King of Prussia, PA and James J. Tassoni and his wife, Cindy of Coatesville, PA; three nephews and two nieces.

Relatives & friends are invited to Samuel’s viewing at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown, PA 19401 on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 9 to 9:45 am, with his Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Samuel’s memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214 and/or the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
