Local Realtor accepted into state leadership program
A Lansdale Realtor was accepted into a statewide leadership program sponsored by the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR).
Richard Strahm, a Realtor with Re/Max Realty Group of Lansdale, is one of 15 selected to the LeadershipPAR program.
A select group of Realtors are chosen for this year-long program, which focuses on team-building skills, public speaking, working with volunteers, government affairs and how to improve and expand leadership styles. The program features nationally known speakers and is designed to enhance skills to better serve the community and the real estate industry.
“LeadershipPAR is a wonderful opportunity for Realtors to develop leadership skills,” PAR President Todd Umbenhauer said. “The program is thoughtprovoking and inspiring. It fosters their abilities and helps participants acquire new talents to become better leaders. They’ve dedicated their time and energy to be part of this program.”
Strahm is a member of the Montgomery County Association of Realtors where he currently serves as vice president. He is also a director for the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and serves on its diversity committee.
He holds the following professional designations: Accredited Buyers’ Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) as well as the Pricing Strategy Adviser (PSA) and Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certifications.
Active in the Lansdale community, Strahm is the vice chair of the borough’s economic development committee and serves as the treasurer for the nonprofit organization Discover Lansdale.
