Community to support high schools through ‘Sage Swing for Doubles’

-

HORSHAM » Kyffin Grove, a SageLife senior community, will donate $20 to two local high school baseball and softball teams for each double the teams hit throughout the 2018 varsity seasons.

The schools are North Penn and Hatboro-Horsham high schools.

The “Sage Swing for Doubles” partnership with suburban Philadelphia schools is intended to support high school athletics at a time when many athletic budgets are stretched thin.

“SageLife is all about building sophisticated, vibrant, lifestyle-focused communities for our residents,” said Kelly Andress, founder and president of SageLife. “Part of that includes engaging our residents with the larger communities around us. We’re happy to support high school athletics and the valuable life lessons that are learned through participation in sports.”

The following SageLife Communities also have partnered with local high schools through the “Sage Swing for Doubles” program:

• Plush Mills in Wallingford, Pa., will make donations to Strath Haven, Penncrest and Springfield (Delaware County) high schools.

• Daylesford Crossing in Paoli, Pa., is partnering with Conestoga High School.

• Echo Lake, a new community that will open in 2018 at Atwater in Malvern, will make donations to Malvern Preparatory School, Villa Maria Academy and Great Valley High School.
