Sara Ann Pauline of Gilbertsville

Sara Ann Pauline, 96, of Gilbertsville, formerly of Conshohocken for over 40 years, passed away on May 30, 2018 at Season Hospice in Phoenixville. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred R. Pauline Sr.

She was born in Norristown, PA on September 2, 1921 to the late Jerome and Angeline (Tornetta) Cottetta.

Sara attended the former Eisenhower High School in Norristown.

She was formerly employed as a Hairdresser for Bella Beauty Shop for 6 years and also worked as a Clothing Inspector for Susskind’s for 4 years. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family, and took pride in caring for her home.

She was a member of the former SS. Cosmas and Damian Church in Conshohocken, the SAAC Senior Citizens in Norristown and the Boyertown Senior Citizens.

Sara is survived by her two sons Alfred R. Pauline Jr. and wife Dorothy of Gilbertsville, Ronald L. Pauline and wife Rita of West Norriton, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings Margaret John, Joseph Cottetta, Frances Hendricks.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 219 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428. The Viewing will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 516 Fayette St., Conshohocken. Entombment in St. Matthew Mausoleum.
