Frances N. Mincarelli

Frances N. (Santangelo) Mincarelli, 86, of Boyton Beach, died on Monday, May 28, 2018, she had been living at the Sonata Senior Living Center, FL. Born February 28, 1932 in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lena (Billela) and Peter Santangelo, and wife of the late Daniel Mincarelli, who died in 2001.

Mrs. Mincarelli was a former Roberts Circle resident and founding member of the “Night Gown News”. She had also resided in the Boca Raton, FL for the past 20 years. She was employed at the former Sacred Heart Hospital as a SPD Technician. She loved the Beach and went most every day, collecting her shells and reading her books. She enjoyed playing cards, especially blackjack and poker.

She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and Loved going out to Restaurants and Shows. She was known for her cooking. She was the “Italian Chef’ without the TV show! She was a devout Catholic, attending Mass daily and was a prayer warrior to God for her family and many friends.

Survivors include 3 children: Alfred A. (Lisa) Mincarelli, Marlena (Patrick) Heller, and Daniel J. (Sisa) Mincarelli; 7 grandchildren: Matthew & Ashley Mincarelli; Chelsea & PJ Heller; Noelle, Marygrace & Anthony Mincarelli. Great Grand daughter: Juliet Mincarelli. She is also survived by many Loving Nieces and Nephews.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her 3 brothers: Angelo, Michael, & Alfonso Santangelo.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 10 to 10:50 am, at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown, PA, with her Memorial Mass to follow at 11 am.
