Alexander C. Patson, 87, of Brigantine, NJ, entered into rest on Sunday June 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Royersford, PA he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Pasiotes) Patson. He was the loving devoted husband of Mary (Valerio) Patson.

Alexander bravely served his country in the U.S. Navy as a firefighte­r during the Korean War on the destroyer Everett F. Larson. While in the service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal, and the Navy Good Conduct Medal.

He was a mechanic working for various companies including Container Corporatio­n of Philadelph­ia, Leeds & Northroop and finally General Electric in King of Prussia. Alexander enjoyed and excelled at building and flying quarter scale airplane models. He also built Hubbley model cars and was an avid runner. He was a member of the Valley Forge Signal Seeks.

Alexander will be missed and fondly remembered by his wife; Mary Patson, daughter; Dana (Jeffrey) Denner, grandson; Ryan Denner, sister; Gloria (Samuel) Barone and a host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectful­ly invited to attend Alexander’s Life Celebratio­n Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday June 16, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 331 8th Street South, Brigantine, NJ 08203. A visitation will be held from 12 noon until 12:50pm. Interment will be private at the convenienc­e of the family.
