Carmela Turri of Norristown.

Carmela Turri (nee Fiorentino) of Norristown, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on June 10, 2018.

Born in Montella, Italy on March 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Felicilla (nee Della Bueno) and Gaetano Fiorentino.

She was a creator of all things beautiful and delicious.

Carmela shared 46 years of marriage with her beloved husband Olivo, before his passing in 2003.

Carmela is survived by her loving children; Maria Damato (Bill) and Francesca Stevens (Gary), and grandchildren; Rachele, Diana (Ned), Garrett (Jade), Vanessa (Manny), Olivia (Dwayne), and Sage. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Natalie, Skylar, Ava, Zachary, Harleigh, and Vivienne. Carmela is also survived by her sister Grazia Capone, brother Gildo Fiorentino, and sisters-in-law Rose and Giacomina Fiorentino. She was predeceased by her brothers Amedeo and Angelo, brother-inlaw Antonio, and sister-in-law Maria.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carmela’s life on Friday June 15 from 6 – 8 PM at BoydHorrox-Givnish, 200 W Germantown Pike in East Norriton. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday June 16 at 11 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton St in Norristown. Entombment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
