Marie Corry;

Marie Corry (nee Narducci) of Plymouth Meeting, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 31, 2018. She was 95 years old.

Born July 14, 1922 in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Susan (nee Gambone) Narducci, and the beloved wife of the late Henry F. Corry.

Marie was a graduate of Chestnut Hill College and passed a legacy of education on to her children and grandchildren. She was a career woman; after her college graduation she taught Spanish, French, and English at the high school level. In the later 1960’s, she established a women’s clothing shop with her sister, which was a treasured part of the Audubon, PA community for almost 25 years. In her later years, Marie was an active substitute teacher; taught English as a Second Language; and tutored. She worked well into her later seventies, and left a model of career and initiative for those who follow her.

Marie is survived by her two daughters: Sandra Vasoli (Thomas); and Beth Ann Corry; three grandchildren: Kelly Jones (Cecil), Kyle Brobson, and Stacey Miller (Warren); a great grandson: Warren Hank Miller, and her sister Theresa Granese.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Marie’s Life Celebration on Friday June 22, from 10 to 10:45 AM at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3040 Walton Rd. in Plymouth Meeting. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM at the church. Interment will be private. Family services are by Boyd-HorroxGivnish of East Norriton, 610-277-7000.
