Griswold Home Care hosting blood drive

PLYMOUTH MEETING »To celebrate the anniversar­y of its founder’s birth, Griswold Home Care will host a blood drive Monday, July 30, at its corporate headquarte­rs.

All those wishing to donate blood can do so between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. by appointmen­t, a press release noted.

“Jean Griswold, who founded the company in Erdenheim in 1982, was committed to community service and launched the company to assist those who needed care in their homes,” said Michelle Still, director of Griswold Home Care’s Lower Pennsylvan­ia offices. “We are honoring her memory on what would’ve been her 88th birthday by inviting residents to give blood at our headquarte­rs alongside our employees.”

The blood drive will be held at 120 W. Germantown Pike, Suite 200, in Plymouth Meeting, Miller-Keystone Blood Center will conduct the drive. Donors will receive cookies and juice, along with the thanks of Griswold staff. Advance registrati­on is required due to a limited number of slots. To register, visit http://bit.ly/GHCBloodDr­ive.
